Paul Lindley officiating. Parents of the couple are Virgil Tatro of Absorkee and Harry and Shirlee Gates of Columbus. Terry Balbach was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Tonya Tatro and Theresa Nelson. Attending the bridegroom were best man Wayne Godfrey and groomsmen Virgil Tatro and Ty Balbach. The newlyweds are living in Columbus. The bride attended MSU-Great Falls College of Technology and works for Stillwater Hardware. Gates graduated from Columbus High School and works at the Stillwater Mine.

Harry and Tracy Gates Katie Janetski and Jason Bailey Katie Janetski and Jason Bailey were married on Dec. 20 in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elder Stephen E. Featherstone officiated. Parents of the couple are Lee and Vicki Janetski of 83 Sun River Road and Mike and Peggy Bailey of 7007 58th St.

Melissa Dier and James Rafferty Melissa Dier and James Rafferty, who were married on Aug. 11 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Two Rivers, are living in Bellevue, Wash.

The bride, daughter of Michael and Becky Sherrill of Havre, graduated from Havre High School and from University of MontanaWestern, where she earned a degree in physical education and health, with a minor in biology. Garza, son of Emilio and Candi Garza of Belt and the late Geraldine Garza, graduated from Belt High School and UM-Western, where he majored in secondary education, business education and social science. Both are employed at Centerville Schools as teachers and assistant coaches. The bride's sister, Teri Sherrill, was maid of honor.

He is employed by World Bank where he works on Africa and infrastructure finance.
